hi guys, been a while since ive been down the sydney city circle tunnels. have things been stepped up at all in the last 4-5 years? anything new to watch out for? is most of it still accesible?

Signing the guestbook again, because I want to say your photos still amaze me! Urban Twilight and Sleepy City, two of my favourite sites. Think you could recommend another photography site or blog that has some great Australian UrbEx photography?
Also, random quick question, do you know anything about the Gawler Chambers in Adelaide? I walk past it a lot and it looks downright abandoned or at least mothballed. I'm not brave enough to check the backdoor, but I was wondering if you had any pictures of its interior?

It's not abandoned, just disused. 18 months ago a certain Adelaide 'street artist' found out about it and plastered nearly every window with graffiti. Since then the insides have been slowly destroyed.
The owners do still care about it. They hire security companies to do patrols and walk-thrus but they seem powerless to stop the damage.

Great Aussie site! I think it's great that someones taken the time to organise a site and share their stories and photos! I am a lover of urban beauty and think Adelaide has some fantastic buildings that certainly compare to the rest of the world.
If anything Wizard......sharing a bit more your stories would be a great addition! I think reading about the adventure would be as great as the photo's themselves??

Hi I'm a year 12student and doing my hsc and was wondering if you could help me with some good places to take photos for my photography major iv been urban exploring since 14 and I have been to a few places and a few on this site and taken great photos I would really appreciate it if you could help me with some sites, others have just put me down and ignored me I'm not expecting any real secret places I understand that but i would really appreciate it if you could email me a few nice photography places.

adelaide railway station has some tunnels under it...at the rear close to where police park their cars....station also has a boileroom basement underground...cannot get into without knowing the right person!.have some pics if u want them posted on here....also a lift which goes down further from that level.not up into the casino...cheers

I've been in this tunnel and the rooms of to the sides, but that was before the police setup shop there.
I don't remember an elevator tho. Can you describe where it is?

Hey! Thanks for accepting my account request :)
Gotta say, I have been lurking Urban Twilight for awhile now and it is all amazing- I admire Cave Clan!
I hate to be a peeve, but was curious as to what the laws on tunneling is exactly? Me and some others are preparing to enter a tunnel in South Australia and I just wanted to double check with you how careful we really need to be in regards to legality. Of course we understand the no vandalism/drugs/graffiti laws and will abide by those.
We look forward to exploring the underground, and hopefully spotting a few little marks left behind by you all! Of course we will donate by uploading our own pictures!
Also, do you know how we could acquire maps of some of the tunnels? It would be nice if our torches were not the only thing guiding us :)
