Great site, amazing pictures. I would never have the guts to go in these drains myself, but I still find them fascinating. So thanks for taking me along for the ride without me having to get my feet wet!

Just curious, have you ever been in the drains that run into the Sturt River (Adelaide), for example under the Road Safety Centre just off oaklands road?
Any pictures?
Cheers
Richard

Yes, they're not the most interesting of tunnels though. I've got some shots of them around here somewhere but from memory they're not very exciting.
Next time i'm in the area i'll try to come back with something worth putting online.

Sweet, that would be fantastic, thanks!

Hi there, My name is Clyde, a producer from the VCA Film & TV school in Melbourne.

We are doing a film and need a drain or canal as our location. I came across your site and your photos are fantestic, and so I was wondering if you would be able to take us to some of these drains to have a look at.

Please feel free to email me. I can provide you with more details then.

Thanks!

Clyde

Hi all at urban twilight. My name is tom and I'm a second year Film and Television student studying at Swinburen University in Melbourne. For our major assessment this semester we are required to make a documentary and one of the idea's that was thought of, was urban exploration. I'd love to be able to talk to someone about the possibilities of a documentary and what your group does. If someone would be able to email me at my email address i'd be very grateful.

Hi my name is Sarah- looking for an urban explorer to interview anonymously for a 5 minute documentary I am making. I am interested in the ethos behind urbex, not looking for locations or anything of that sort. I would so appreciate the chance to talk more about it. Please call or e-mail me. Cell +61 0424462635

thanks! Sarah

I found this website after doing a Google search for ABANDONED HOUSES. I live in Adelaide and will be shooting a music video for a band called THE HIGH LOWS next month (www.thehighlows.com).

They are looking for an old warehouse type location to shoot in... anyone have any good suggestions? We are on a shoestring budget and do not have public liability insurance... anything without the red tape would be preferable.

Also, I have some photos that I thought might suit the site here but have since realized there is no upload facility. I am newly registered but it seems that offers very little.

Thanks for reading!

Hi,

Really enjoyed ur site. U guys (and girls) are pretty crazy - in a good way.

I have a reguest to make. I am a writer (novel writer) who is interested (in a purely theoretical sense) in the St James unused train tunnels. Any information you could give me on them would be appreciated. What do they look like (Ive seen the photos but am interested in personal opinions), smell like, feel like, etc. Email me with anything... researcher22@live.com.au

Appreciate it

Researcher.
